Our Baptist church observes the Lord's Supper on a quarterly basis. We moved from passing trays of crackers and juice, to bringing people forward where they dip the bread in the cup to receive as they complete a personal time of examination and prayer.
My desire is always for this time to be fresh so that we honestly examine ourselves, repent of sin, and celebrate the gift of Christ. In doing so, I look for new and creative ways to celebrate. Any approaches you've used that have been particularly meaningful to yourself or your congregation? Much appreciated!
