@Leah_Poarch @Michael_Schmitz, for Welcome to Loop the "message" is 100% live speak I believe. The Emcee Guide is a little weird as it references a "teaching video" for the Message but I'm pretty sure there isn't one. I think where it says, "Transition kids from worship to teaching video" it should say something more like, "Transition kids from worship to message" since there is no video. And then for Offering I think it'd be more like, "Recap message in one sentence. ..." I'll connect with that team about these.
Overall, I believe that the teaching portion is 100% live speak (see the Live Speak document), and countdown video, worship, and offering will be video. I'll connect about this video too. My guess is that there will be a "Message video" coming for download which will include these videos and then where the teaching normally is that it'll either be a black screen or a Loop slide there for that time. So, probably the typical, "Message video" coming, and no, "Teaching Video".
Hope that isn't too confusing. Expect to speak live the teaching portion, and that the other video portions will be the usual via video. I'll connect with this team about these things. Keep an eye on the, "Welcome to Loop" page for the Message video, Challenge Card, Materials List, and if any of the documents already up get updated (the resource dropdown will say, "- Updated" if so). @samantha.lowe
@Leah_Poarch feel free to loop me in for any series specific things like this for Loop and Switch.
@Michael_Schmitz - great observation and questions. I wouldn't have caught some of this if you didn't mention this. As I thought through it and looked into it I noticed the things above. Generally a Live Speak week for Loop indicates that the teaching portion you teach live, there should always be a script for this as well like there is for this one.
For training leaders, one idea might be to pick a week from our current series, "Witness 2: Journey Into Faith" and run through an entire hour with that for somewhat of a visual for them. Use the Message Video for video, have print out copies of the Small Group Leader Guide and Challenge Card for them to look at, you could have them sit in groups during the training to get the feel for small group times, you could use the Emcee Guide yourself to demonstrate what the Emcee does, etc. Run through the a typical Loop service with them using the materials they'd be using and seeing during a typical service. I'm sure @Leah_Poarch probably has some additional great suggestions for training as well! I'm excited for you guys!
