I've heard of some churches who are streaming their services live using the Streaming provider and simultaneously streaming to Facebook. Is this possible? If so, how?
You would have to set it up with whatever you using to stream your service with. We use Wirecast and send multiple streams from there. One of them being the Facebook Live stream
Thank you Tim. I'll look into it.
We use churchstreaming.tv and simultaneously stream to our site at Church Online Platform and to our Facebook Group (or Page) and so far it's worked very well.
I researched our Streaming provider - LiveStream - and I did find out that they do now offer the feature to simulcast to Facebook Live, and the set up was relatively easy. We are going to be trying it this Sunday.
We Have resently made the switch to Dacast.com for our livestream which allows us to stream from OSB and simultaneously stream to our website and FB live no need to setup a schedule each week and have a software program that allows multiple livestream outputs.
I would also take a look at BoxCast.com. You can stream to Facebook, YouTube, your website, App, Roku and Apple TV all at the same time!
We have a similar setup Dacast and OBS. How do you stream to both? Do you have some steps or a setup document you could share? I would love to set this up
Hi Jason if you go to the dacast website and click on your livestream you want to stream. Click on publish setting. Now to setup Facebook all you do is copy and paste the Facebook share code to Facebook. Same with the website. If you cut and paste the embed code todo that you will see a section that says JS and IFrame. If click IFrame and copy that section and give that to the person how designed your website they can embed that into your website. Now all you have to do is hit livestream on OSB and it should Livestream to both.Let me know how you make outAndrew
I tried to do this before and FB would not allow me to install that code. Perhaps I am putting int he wrong place could perhps to a screen shot?
What we did was created a post and copied and pasted the FB share code into the post. And what we did is pinned it to the top of our wall. Now if you are a mac user we did have to go into safari's options and manually enable flash I believe it's under security settings tab and that goes for anyone with a mac and we for added instructions on our post in regards to that. If you are using a windows PC I am not totally Sure if that's the same I will have to look into that.Let me know how that works out
