To answer a few of your questions...
It can be very surprising who makes a good Online Host. It's not always the most outgoing person, like you'd have as a door greeter. Introverts make great hosts in a chat room, so keep your mind open to anyone. We have a few hosts who are home bound. It's a great opportunity for anyone to serve from wherever they are.
We only have one live service a week, out of 8 total. For the others we have a pre-shot and edited service, that is online specific. The live aspect of these types of services are your hosts. If you record your services, I would suggest this route. It's called simulated live in the online church world. It gives you the ability to consistently put out a better product than live can produce.
Facebook is a good place to start streaming, but does have its issues. Mainly with music licensing and the like. The Church Online Platform from Life.Church is the best way to go right now if you'd like to do more than just stream.
We've had an Online Campus for almost 3 yrs now and still going strong. (https://live.vl.church/) Please feel free to contact me! I love to help people get their ministries rolling!
