Big Idea: God’s plans are always good!
Week 1:
Kids will learn about when God created the world. God made everything, and best of all God
made people. Kids will learn that God made us, He loves us, and He knows what is best for His creation. They can know that God’s plans are always good!
Week 2:
Kids will learn about when Adam and Eve sinned. They’ll see that God had a good plan to live in peace and love with His creation, but Adam and Eve chose to do things their way instead. Kids will learn about how, even though Adam and Eve sinned, God still loved people and would eventually give us the best rescue plan in Jesus. Kids can know that no matter what, God’s plans are always good.
Week 3:
Kids will learn about when God made a covenant with Abraham. God promised Abraham a big family, even though him and his wife were old. And God changed his name from Abram to Abraham. Abraham wasn’t perfect, but God still had a big plan for him and for all people. Eventually, Abraham would trust God’s plan, and God would give him a big family just as He had promised. Kids can know that, even when we don’t understand them, God’s plans are always good!
Week 4:
Kids will learn about when God promised Sarah a baby. At first, Sarah laughed because she was too old to have a baby. But God did eventually fulfill His promise, and He gave Sarah and Abraham a baby. God kept His promise and fulfilled His plan. Kids can know that God is trustworthy, and declare that His plans are always good!
