At first glance, it seems like a Worship Pastor's main priority is to sing.
While singing is the medium, pastoring is the goal. Worship Pastors are responsible for one of the most real, vulnerable, spiritual parts of a church experience—when we tell God how wonderful He is and let him minister to our spirits through music.
To be really intentional about this sacred time of worship, our pastors have worked through a philosophy we call "know, feel, do." It's a way of thinking that asks, "What do we want attenders to know, feel, and do once they've been in our worship experience." When you ask these questions, it forces you to be intentional about the songs you pick, the lights you use, and the condition of your own heart as a pastor.
