For our first live-recording project, we had to learn a few things as we went. One was that live recordings aren't as easily controlled as studio recordings, so we had to go back and do a little post-production polishing. We learned a lot from other ministries like Elevation Church that have gone before us in recording live, and we picked up a new skill: overdubbing. Each time you try something new, you'll make mistakes, make improvements, and learn new skills. Be open to that–don't expect perfection, expect to learn.
